Posted January 13, 2019 05:03:08By RICHARD HEILMANSTEINAssociated PressWASHINGTON (AP) Music fans should start looking at their computers for other apps, not just music.
If you want to get online quickly, there’s no better place than Google.
If music fans want to listen to their favorite songs at home and at work, there are plenty of options available.
You can download the free Spotify app for Apple computers, Android phones and tablets, Windows PCs, BlackBerrys, iPads, Android tablets and smartphones and the web.
The service costs $9.99 a month, but you can use up to 40GB of free storage for free, with unlimited streaming for 30 days.
If you buy the service with credit card, it gets billed at the end of the 30-day free trial.
A Google+ page has a list of all the Spotify apps.
You can find some that are free or even have paid tiers.
Spotify offers a free tier, but if you want more, you can get a $12 monthly subscription, which costs $11.99 per month.
You also can use Google Play Music, which lets you buy music from dozens of artists for $2.99 each.
If that’s not enough, there is an app called Music Unlimited for $1.99.
Other services are free for users with a Google+ account, but for those who don’t, there will be a $9 charge.
For a full list, visit the Spotify website or the Google+ site.
Other music streaming services include Apple Music, Rdio, Pandora and Spotify.
There are no plans for Apple Music to expand beyond the iPhone and iPod lineup, but it could get a Google Play app later this year.
