An aspiring young composer has made a name for himself by taking on an international musicality project.
But for Peter, a former student of the prestigious University of Nottingham, it has been a whirlwind year, during which he’s travelled around the world and built a career as a composer and performer.
Peter, who lives in the UK, is currently composing a music for the movie The Hobbit, which will open in cinemas next year.
The film will mark the first time a film has been made based on a book.
The music for The Hobbit is part of a larger project that Peter is writing and is being directed by Michael Guggenheim.
Peter is a former apprentice of music academy’s music department and has been studying in the art of music and film since he was seven years old.
When he first began studying at the University of Manchester, he was told he would be working with a violinist, but he has since developed a passion for the art form, working with artists from around the globe.
Peter’s latest film, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, is based on the book Lord of the Rings by JRR Tolkien, and was written by Ian McDiarmid.
While it is set in Middle Earth, Peter says the story is about a young hobbit called Bilbo Baggins who is a musician and the lead singer of a band called the Fellowship of the Ring.
“Bilbo Baggin was a very talented musician,” Peter told New Scientist.
“He was the one who was a great motivator for all the kids around the university to get involved with music.
He’s one of the few people I can remember who was willing to do that.”
I have been playing guitar since I was three years old, I was an early student at Manchester, and I was always in a band.
“Bilbao, the Hobbit’s main character, was inspired by the real-life music teacher and composer Michael Jackson.”
Michael Jackson inspired me to do this film,” Peter said.”
When I was six, my father died.
I couldn’t be in a music school anymore.
So I decided to do music in a more traditional way, I would be an art teacher.
“My father would be proud of me and the way I would bring him his music.”
Music was a way for him to communicate with me, so he would have me play music and make it something he wanted to listen to.
“Peter’s love of music began as a child and his mother would encourage him to learn to play the instrument.
He’s been a musician since he can remember and was inspired to begin composing when he was 16.
Peter says he started writing his first songs as a teenager, writing songs about the things that he enjoyed.”
There were two things I loved doing: playing the violin and dancing.
I always wanted to make music for myself, I just didn’t know how,” he said.
Peter said the two things he had in common with Bilbo were a love for classical music and a desire to help people in need.”
At the time, it was an amazing opportunity to help the needy, people who were going through something like poverty,” he told New Statesman.”
You could go to a charity that would be using the music to raise money.
You could make a difference to someone’s life.
I’d get up and sing along with the music, just to make sure that they were OK.
“So I was lucky that my parents had that opportunity to be able to afford a piano for me to practice with.
It was something that I had a lot of fun with.”
Peter said his parents encouraged him to study music because of the way it was taught, but that it also brought him a passion to the arts.
“In my early teens, my mum would say to me, ‘Do you like to write?’
And I’d say ‘Yeah’.
I’d write a few lines about my life and I’d love to write a song about it.
I really loved it.”
Peter has been nominated for three Oscars, winning the award for best music performance in 2005.
His other films include My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, and The Secret Life of Pets.
“The Secret Life” won the Best Animated Feature Film Academy Award in 2008, and has sold more than 5 million tickets.
Peter was born in London, England and has lived in New Zealand, Spain and Australia.
He is married to Joanne, who also wrote the film.
